Pearline Robinson Brooks

Saluda, SC:  Pearline Robinson Brooks, 96, of 104 Carver Street, the widow of Joe Ben Brooks, transitioned from this life into eternal rest, Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Saluda, SC, September 17, 1927, daughter of the late Sam Edward (Roebuck) and Inez Lott Robinson. She was a faith member of Mt. Moses CME Church until her health failed and she was a member of the Women Home Aide Society #41. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded by sons, James Brooks, Richard Brooks and Jonathan Brooks; beloved daughter-in-Cynthia Kaye Brooks, grandson, Tevin Denzel Brooks and sister, Pauline Robinson and Rosa Mae Burt raised as a sister.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory; her devoted children, Donald Brooks of Saluda, SC, Annette (Willie) Wesley of Pontiac, Michigan, Inez Marie Brooks of Saluda, SC and Rosie Lee Lang (Like a daughter) of Houston, TX; Nineteen grandchildren, a number great grands; brothers, Sam Eddie Robinson of Saluda, SC and Albert (Gloria) Robinson of Batesburg, SC; sisters, Annie P. Watson and Margaret Young both of Saluda, SC; daughter-in-law, Renee Brooks of Flagstaff, AZ; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The family is at the home.
