Preston Coleman

Saluda, SC:  Preston Coleman, 67 of 2705 John J. Rushton Road, the husband of Dorothy Coleman passed away, Sunday, June 29, 20225 in the Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

He was born in Saluda County September 1, 1957, son of the late Elgin, Sr. and Ruby Lee Watson Coleman. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and he received his education in the public schools of Ninety-Six, South Carolina. During his working life he worked at the Textile Mill a division of Greenwood Mills and his last employment was with Johnson Lawn Care until retirement. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Coleman.

Those who will miss him the most, his wife, Dorothy B. Coleman of Saluda, SC (SNC); sons Leon Coleman of Saluda, SC and Latron Jackson of Greenwood, SC; daughter, Sheteka Jackson of Greenwood, SC; six grandchildren;  brothers, Jessie Coleman of Ninety-Six, SC, Wayne Coleman of Columbia, SC, Elgin (Regina) Coleman, Jr., and Jeffrey Coleman all of Saluda, SC and Leon (Annette) Coleman of Greenwood, SC; sisters, Lois (Willie) Bradshaw, Regina Smith and Beatrice (Billy) Brunson all of Saluda, SC and Arietta (Chuck) Anderson of Lauren, SC;  one sister-in-law; four aunts, two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family is at the home of his sister, Lois and Willie Bradshaw, 119 Catfish Road, Saluda, SC.
