Rufus Williams
Ninety Six, SC: Rufus Williams 68, of 205 Wilson Bridge Road, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Saluda County, SC, son of Jeannette Werts Williams Holmes and the late late Andrew Williams, Jr.. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, and stepfather, Tobe Holmes; he was preceded in death by siblings, Ray Jackson, William Holmes, Robert Holmes, Bessie J. Harrison and Alberta Partlow.
He is survived by; his mother, Jeannette Holmes of Edgefield, SC; brothers, Andrew Jackson, Ninety six, SC, Eugene Williams, McCormick, SC, Otis Williams, Augusta, GA, Anthony Holmes, Edgefield, SC and Terry Holmes, Greenwood, SC; sisters, Angela Williams, Minister Rosa (Randy) Fernanders, Audrey Smith, Lillie (Robert) Belcher, Willie B. (Randy) Rappley and Dorothy Holmes all of Greenwood, SC, Judith Williams, Georgia, Janice (Jerry) Harris, Augusta, GA, Barbara Hall, Columbia, SC and Angela (Troy) Donato, Louisiana; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatiives and sorrowing friends.
A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday June 13, 2020 Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Camillia Simpkins and Minister Rosa Fernanders and Reverend Louis Jackson.
