Saluda, SC:  Santrica Mason, 40,  transitioned from this life into eternal rest, on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, SC, daughter of Melvin Mathis and the late Amy Mason (Stevens) was born on April 5, 1981.

She was a member of Mine Creek Baptist Church. She received her education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina where she graduated from Saluda High School in 2000. She once worked at Fred's and her last employment was at Amick Farms.

Santrica was called Trica by her family and friends and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to honor and cherish her memory; her father, Melvin Mathis of Saluda, SC; stepfather, Leon Stevens of Saluda, SC; brothers, Willie Odell Mason (Capria), Monchella Jones and Melvin Mathis, Jr. all of Saluda, SC; two sisters, Tansi Mason of Edgefield, SC, and Shy Mathis of Saluda, SC; special friend, Christopher Gates of Johnston, SC; a niece, Phaedra and two nephews, Deleon and Angel whom she helped to raise; paternal grandmother, Louise Mathis of Saluda, SC; god-son, Sir Jones of Ward, god-sister, Brianna Holmes of Johnston, SC; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

A Graveside Service to Celebrate her life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Mine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held Tuesday, 11/16/21 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of Leon  Stevens, 15. Lynberg Drive, Saluda, SC.
