Saluda, SC:  Stanley Coleman, 66, of 173 Myrtle Road,  passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Prisma Healthcare, Columbia, SC.

He was born in Ninety-Six, SC, the son of the late Elgin Sr. and Ruby Lee Watson Coleman on April 17, 1956. He was educated the public schools of Ninety-Six, SC. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. 

He worked during his working life in Textile Industry and Construction.

He leaves to cherish and honor his legacy and memory; sons, Malcolm Brunson of Orangeburg, SC, Cortez Brunson of Saluda, SC, and Stanley Oniel Hawkins of Ninety-Six, SC; daughter, Janice Coleman (Willie) of Chappell, SC; four grandchildren; brothers, Jessie J. (Susie) Coleman of Ninety-Six, SC, Leonard Leon (Annette) Coleman Greenwood, SC, Elgin Jr (Regina) Coleman, Jeffery Coleman, Preston (Dorothy) Coleman all of Saluda, SC and Wayne Coleman of Columbia, SC; sisters, Lynease Bradshaw (Willie), Regina Smith and Beatrice Mathis (Billy) all of Saluda, SC and Arietta Anderson (James) of Laurens, SC; Marvin (Ashley) Brunson (like a son) of Johnston, SC; four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church conducted by the pastor, Reverend Richard Jackson. The body will be placed in the church at Noon Saturday.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Lynease and Willie Bradshaw home 119 Cat Fish Road, Saluda, SC.
