Thelma Goodwin Weaver
Greenwood, SC: Thelma Louise Goodwin Weaver, 71, of 260 Wise Wood Cirlce, the widow of Floyd Tyrone Weaver, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 26, 2021, after declining health.
She was born on Edgefield County, SC, a daughter of the late Jeannie Goodwin and Stewart Bibbs. She received her education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina where she was a 1968 graduate of W E Parker High School.
At an early age, she joined the the Shaws Creek Baptist Church and after her marriage to Floyd Tyrone Weaver she moved her membership to Willow Spring Baptist Church. The union of marriage was blessed with three children.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Floyd Tyrone Weaver, Sr.; son, Floyd Tyrone Weaver, Jr. and siblings, Walter Goodwin, Willie James Goodwin, John Goodwin and Irene Ryans.
Those left to cherish and honor her life; 2 daughters, Angela Weaver of Greenwood, SC and Allison Weaver of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, Taheerah, Jazmine, Trey, Simone and Elijah; six great-grands; three brothers, William Goodwin, Yonkers, NY,m Robert Lee Goodmin, Baldwin Long Island, NY and Joe Goodwin, Florida; three sisters, Robbie (Curtis) Bouknight, Hempstead, NY, Mary F. Piper of Greenwood, SC, Mary Allice Goodwin, Bloomsfield, NJ; seven sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Willow Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Edgefield, SC.
The family is at the home 260 Wise Wood Circle, Greenwood, SC 29646.
Due to COVID19, please follow the CDC guidelines during visiting and during the service.
