Edgefield, SC:  Tonya Roshaye Davis, 48, departed this life Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home.

She was born August 11, 1972 in Greenwood, SC, daughter of Henry and Jessie Mae Coleman Davis. 

She received her education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina.

At an early age, she joined the Willow Spring Baptist Church.  She worked in the textile industry during her working life.

She was preceded in death by her son, Darris McDuffie and maternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Coleman.

Leaving to cherish and honor her memory; her mother, Jessie C. Davis of Edgefield, SC; her father, Henry Davis of Johnston, SC;  son, Jyneel McDuffie of Edgefield, SC; daughter, Kadasha West of Aiken, SC; brother, Jerome Mathis of Saluda, SC; sisters, Patrice Davis of Edgefield, SC and Bridgett Johnson of Aiken, SC; one grand, Kamiya West; god-mother, Hattie Coates of Edgefield, SC; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
