Saluda, SC: Mr. Willie Lee Etheredge, 75, entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2026, at St. Francis Downtown, Greenville, SC.. He was born on July 17, 1950, in Saluda, South Carolina, son of the late Bennie Smith and Dorothy Rabb Smith.
Mr. Etheredge was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years as a self-employed truck driver. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and the love he had for his family. He was a faithful member of Phillippi Baptist Church, where he found comfort worshipping and praising God.
He was married to Joann Robinson Etheredge who preceded him in death. This union was blessed with three sons.
In addition to his parents and his wife; he was also preceded by siblings, L.C. Smith, Sonny Gantt, Bennie Mae Coleman and Jessie L. Smith Morris.
Mr. Etheredge leaves to cherish his loving memories his three sons: Willie Jerome Etheredge of Batesburg, SC, Michael Etheredge of Greenwood, SC, and Tyrone Etheredge of Greenwood, SC. He also leaves behind his sister, Shirley Jean Gantt of Atlanta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Robinson and Michelle Robinson; one brother-in-law, Joe L. Robinson; along with eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Mr. Etheredge will be remembered for his quiet spirit, his dedication to his family, and the impact he made on those who knew and love.
The family is at the home, 1512 Hunters Lane, Saluda, SC 29138.
