Edgefield, SC:  Willie Thomas Martin, 52, of 686 Long Cane Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Augusta University Hospital.

He was born on Edgefield  County, SC, son of the late Hoover and Ora Mae Norris Martin. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.  

He received his education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina where he graduated from Strom Thurmond High School.in 1986. He was a veteran of US Army and he also served in the National Guard.

He is survived by; two daughters, Britney Brown and Alexsus Houston both of Aiken, SC; two sons Tamerick Jones of Trenton, SC and Dovante Jones of Edgefield, SC; three grandchildren; sisters, Ophelia Valentine and Diane Martin both of Palm Bay, FLA and Jeanette Martin of Saluda, SC; two brother. Hoover (Mary Helen) Martin, Jr. of Johnston, SC and Bernard (Angela) Daniels of Saluda, SC ;  and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Graveside Service will be held in His Memory on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery where Reverend Herbert Martin is the pastor, Reverend Carolyn W. Nickolson officiating and Reverend Frank Nicholson assisting.

Viewing will be Friday, 7/31/20 3-7 p.m at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his son, Tamerick Jones, 3390 Highway 19, Trenton, SC.
