Xavion Carter

Supply NC:  Xavion Carter 18, formerly of Columbia, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Supply North Carolina.

He was born in Lexington, SC, on April 7, 2004, son of Felicia Erving and Ramsey Carter.  He was a senoir at West Brunswick High School, Shallotte, NC. He was of Baptist Faith where he fellowship at St. Mark Baptist Church, Leesville, SC. 

Xavion loved to play basketball and his favorite professional team was the Los Angeles Lakers.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ella Ruth Davis Erving.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory; his mother, Felicia Erving of Columbia, SC, his father, Ramsey Carter of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Yigeria Erving and Zariya Gibson both of Columbia, SC; maternal grandfather, William Erving, Lexington, SC; uncle, Micheal (Tamarra) Erving of Supply, NC; godmother, Leshunda L. Alston, W. Columbia, SC; great aunts and uncles; a host of close relatives, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Homegoing Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church 9609 178 S. Saluda, SC, conducted by Reverend Camilla Simpkins - presiding, Reverend Dr. Amos O. Harling, Jr. - Eulogist and others assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

Family view be Sunday 1-2 pm. Public viewing will be 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of his great aunt, Carrie Kinard, 162 May Branch Road, Saluda, SC.
